This book, was really good. It's a great start for the “A New Dawn” series.

It starts out with action, that pretty much flows throughout it's entire length which kept me wanting to read more, and that's a plus for any reader in my opinion!

Katalina's world gets totally turned upside down, inside out, and blown apart in a whirlwind of time; and she's expected to fully understand the what and why of it all by people she has never met, and now they're the only family she has left. Caught up in a war between families, a war within herself about who she truly and if she can embrace it, Katalina has a lot of growing up to do in a short amount of time.

You can tell this author has a passion for the PNR world of writing, and she loves her shifters. From her “Deadwood Hunter Series” to this one, she writes the characteristics of how a shifter lives, adapts, and acts very well. For a YA novel, it had a steamy bit of passion that is totally suitable for younger readers, some mature language that I'm sure we've all heard before, and is also a standalone without a cliffhanger ending. I give it 5 fully-lit stars!!

I've being reading books for as long as I can remember but I never thought about writing until I read Nalini Singh - Slave to sensation which is the first book in her psy-changling series.

At first I just wrote fan fiction until one morning I woke up with a story of my own. Lincoln and Lexia were born! I spent 6 solid months writing and re-writing and now their story is out in the world and I am currently working on the final book Holocaust due 2015.

After the birth of my 3rd child I wrote Winter Wolf a YA Paranormal Novel which is due for Release in November.

I have lived in England, New Zealand and currently live in QLD Australia but to me England will always be home.

I've been a dish washer, Admin assistant, horse groom and now spend my days looking after my 3 children and writing as often as I can.
